BTTA hex-shank spiral-fluted step drill bit made from M35 Cobalt High-Speed Steel (HSS-Co 5%)

represents the absolute pinnacle of performance for portable multi-hole drilling. The M35 alloy boosts the tool's red-hardness (the ability to cut cleanly at extreme friction temperatures up to 600°C), allowing it to drill through notoriously tough stainless steel, iron plates, and high-tensile alloys where standard HSS bits immediately dull or burn out.
